Delivery reports
The weekly status says what the team did. A delivery report says where a project, or a whole account, stands against what was promised, for people not in the work every day: an executive, a sales lead, the client's sponsor. It covers a period you choose.
LeadOwnerAccount Manager, Admin or Owner write and publish. Anyone who reads the project or account reads what was published.
Two things, kept apart
Facts
From the system
Taken when the report starts and refreshed on request until published: health with each dimension's reason; milestones against baselines and any that moved; releases shipped and planned; the published weekly status and its blockers; staffing for four weeks; hours logged and the billable share by work class. Nothing here is typed.
Content
From the manager
The status called (On track, At risk, Off track) and why; a summary; achievements; notes on milestones; risks and issues with owner and mitigation; decisions needed from the reader; the next period's plan.
Writing one
- Open the project's Reports › Delivery reports and choose New report. It asks only for the period.
- Edit each section. Each is a card with Edit, saved one at a time, so a report can be written over a week.
- Draft with AI, if you like. It proposes a summary, the reason for the status, achievements, notes for late or re-baselined milestones, risks, decisions and the next period, each shown beside the fact it came from. Nothing is in the report until you choose Use on a section. Lists are added to; a paragraph replaces what is there; everything stays editable. The suggested status is the project's health rating, and the call is still yours.
- Publish. What was said is kept as a numbered revision and shown to readers.
A risk's impact comes from the rule that raised it. A risk drafted in one report is recognised as Carried over in the next while its fact is still open.
Revisions and history
- Publish changes makes the next revision; later edits never change one already published.
- History opens earlier revisions, and shows what each publish changed.
- Since last report opens each report after the first with what moved since the previous one: status, health, milestones, releases, staffing, blockers and hours, each marked worse, better or neither.
- Withdraw hides the report from readers; every revision stays on record. A draft never published can be deleted; a published one can't.
Sending it out
- PDF downloads the revision you are reading, in the project's export theme. Any reader can take it.
- Share, for whoever may publish, makes a public link for a reader with no account, such as the client. It works for 7 to 90 days, always opens the latest published revision, and opens nothing while the report is withdrawn. The dialog lists your active links with how often each was opened.
- A draft is never exported or shared.
Account reports
An account's managers can write a report for the whole client under Accounts›the account›Reports: the account's delivery picture, each project's own published report for the period, and the hours across them, with the manager's summary and asks on top.
Draft with AI takes the projects worst first and says which published nothing for the period. The suggested status is the worst project's rating, and the risks and decisions are the ones the project reports raised, each under its project's name.
