Signing in and finding your way

How you get an account, how to sign in, and where everything is once you are in.

Getting an account

You don't sign up yourself. Someone who manages people adds you and sends you a login: an email with a link to choose your password.

Choosing a password and signing in

  1. Follow the link in your invitation email. It works once, within 72 hours. If it has expired, ask whoever added you to send it again.
  2. Type a new password, then type it again, and choose Set password and sign in.
  3. Next time, open https://pmo-assist.gtm.itsaiplatform.com and sign in with the email the invitation went to and your password. You return to the page you were trying to open.

The sidebar only lists what you can open, so two people may see different menus.

Inside a project or the Portfolio, the sidebar shows that area's own sections; the link at its top goes back. Notifications, My profile and Settings are in the user menu at the top right.

Press G, then the second key within a second. Shortcuts are ignored while you type or while a dialog is open, except Ctrl K and Ctrl Shift L.

Theme

Press Ctrl Shift L (⌘ Shift L on a Mac) on any page, or choose Change theme… in the command palette. Pick the Mode (Light, Dark or System) and the Palette (Dexian 2.0, Dexian, Paper); the change shows at once. The same choices are under Settings›Appearance, kept for this browser.

Notifications

The bell in the app bar shows your latest notifications. Notifications in the user menu opens the full feed, filtered by read state and by area. Opening one marks it read; Mark all read clears the rest. Choose what you're told about under Settings›Notifications.

Reporting a problem

When an administrator has set it up, Report a problem sits in the app bar beside search and the bell. It opens a short form with your name, email and the page you were on already filled in; the team that looks after PMO Assist picks it up from there.

Work item numbers

Every work item has a number unique across all projects, such as 101188. Write #101188 in a comment to link it, and anyone can open /issues/101188 without knowing which project it is in.
